In 1903, city records mention Old Nick, Lawrenceville’s town mule—a steady, hardworking presence on its dirt roads. He pulled buggies, hauled firefighting gear, and kept the town moving forward. More than a mule, Old Nick was a symbol of civic spirit and quiet resilience.
Today, Old Nick’s honors that legacy. It’s a courtyard retreat where neighbors and travelers gather over craft cocktails, fine whiskeys, and shareable small plates. It’s a place where conversation flows as easily as the drinks, and time slows down just enough to remind us what community feels like.
